20 973 people crossed the contact line via 4 operating checkpoints in Donetsk Region yesterday

According to recent report of Border Guard Service of Ukraine 20 973 people crossed the contact line in the East of Ukraine yesterday via 4 checkpoints operating in Donetsk Region. Right now there is no checkpoints working in Lugansk Region. So people who travel to Lugansk have to go via Donetsk Region or via Russia.

Here is statistics posted by Border Guard Service of Ukraine today at http://dpsu.gov.ua. That shows number of people and vehicles that crossed the contact line yesterday.

Zaitseve checkpoint – 8 040 people and 1 452 vehicles;

Mariinka checkpoint – 5 06 people and 1 210 vehicle;

Novotroitske checkpoint – 5 188 people and 1 382 vehicles;

Hnutove checkpoint – 2 685 people and 714 vehicles.

Today in the morning there were 200 vehicles at Zaitseve checkpoint going to government-controlled territory and 100 vehicles going out. At Mariinka there were 130 vehicles going in and 300 going out. There were 50 vehicles going in and 80 going out at Novotroitske checkpoint. There were 20 vehicles at Hnutove checkpoint going in both directions.

According to the report posted today by Border Guard Service of Ukraine 20 645 people crossed the contact line via checkpoints in Donetsk and Lugansk Regions. Most of the civilians 18 210 got in out out of the conflict zone via 4 checkpoints in Donetsk Region and only 2 435 people crossed the contact line in Lugansk Regions via the only one checkpoint operating in Stanytsia Luhanska.

Below are the numbers posted by Border Guard Service of Ukraine at http://dpsu.gov.ua that show how many people went through each checkpoint.

Zaitseve – 6955 people and and 1455 vehicles;

Mariinka – 4660 people and 1190 vehicles;

Novotroitske – 4690 people and 1250 vehicles;

Hnutove – 1905 people and 480 vehicles;

Stanytsia Luhanska – 2435 people.

Today in the morning there were 150 vehicles coming from non-controlled territories via Zaitseve checkpoint and 100 vehicle going opposite direction. At Mariinka there were 120 vehicles going to non-controlled territories. At Novotroitske there were 60 vehicles going to government-controlled territory and 30 going out. There were no lines of vehicles at Hnutove checkpoint.

Pro-Russian militants attacked Ukrainian positions 44 times in 24 hours also using heavy artillery

Pro-Russian militants attacked Ukrainian positions 44 times in the last 24 hours, they also used 122 mm heavy artillery systems banned by Minsk Protocol. Terrorists mostly attacked Avdiivka village located near Donetsk.

The situation in ATO zone remain difficult and has tendency to get worse. In the last 24 hours pro-Russian armed groups attacked forces of ATO 44 times. Militants used heavy artillery in addition to mortars. Despite 4 attacks on our positions with the use of 122 mm artillery soldiers of Armed Forces of Ukraine defended their positions in Zaitseve and Mayorsk.

Avdiivka village remains most difficult location on the map near Donetsk. Here the enemy failed to push back ATO forces from their positions despite the use of various type of weapon.

In the last 24 hours following villages were attacked by criminal groups: Luhanske, Novhorodske, Mayorsk, Zaitseve, Leninske, Pisky, Opytne, Shyrokyne, Troitske, Mariinka.

Near Lugansk militants tried to storm fortifications of Armed Forces of Ukraine using small firearms. The enemy had to retreat after Ukrainian warriors returned fire.

Below are exact numbers of people and vehicles that went through 5 checkpoints in ATO zone located along the contact line, 4 of them are located in Donetsk Region and there is still only 1 working checkpoint in Lugansk Region that can only be used by pedestrians.

“Zaitseve” checkpoint – 6580 people and 1365 vehicles;

“Mariinka” checkpoint – 4525 people and 1160 vehicles;

“Novotroitske” checkpoint – 5400 people and 1385 vehicles;

“Hnutove” checkpoint – 2565 people and 640 vehicles;

“Stanytsia Luhanska” checkpoint – 3015 people.

Today in the morning there were 150 vehicles in front of “Mariinka” checkpoint going to government-controlled territory and 170 vehicles going to non-controlled territory. 350 vehicles were going in via “Zaitseve” checkpoint and 150 going out. 50 vehicles were going in via “Novotroitske” checkpoint and there was no line of vehicles on the way out. There were also no lines of vehicles at “Hnutove” checkpoint.

Security Service stopped illegal traffic of fuel and detained men who tried to bring 4.5 mln RUB to occupied territory

Security Service of Ukraine together with fiscal service and border guards stopped fuel truck with 5 000 liters of fuel near Hranitne village in Donetsk Region. The cargo costs about 100 thousand UAH. Smugglers were trying to transport the truck to temporarily occupied territory.

Police detained a driver of a vehicle who was trying to transport 2 tons of clothes and shoes worth about 300 thousand UAH to the territory controlled by terrorists violating the rules of cargo transportation through the contact line.

In the same area Security Service of Ukraine, fiscal service and border guards detained medical cargo that had no documents. There were glasses, lenses, ophthalmic knives and so on worth about 100 thousand UAH.

At “Novotroitske” checkpoint police detained 2 men who were trying to bring 4.5 mln RUB in cash and a lot of bank cards to so-called “Lugansk People’s Republic”. They were trying to hide money and cards in underwear.

Over 21 thousand people crossed the contact line in the East of Ukraine yesterday

In the last few days the number of people crossing the contact line in the East of Ukraine increased by 30%. Usually about 15 000 people were going in and out of occupied territories daily. Yesterday 21 312 people went through checkpoints in Donetsk and Lugansk Regions.

In total there are 5 checkpoints operating in the zone of Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). 4 of them are in Donetsk Region and only 1 in Lugansk Region. Today State Border Guard Service posted exact numbers of people and vehicles that crossed the contact line yesterday. See their report at http://dpsu.gov.ua

Donetsk Region:

1. “Zaitseve” – 6556 people and 1225 vehicles;

2. “Mariinka” – 5385 people and 1170 vehicles;

3. “Novotroitske” – 4235 people and 1265 vehicles;

4. “Hnutove” – 2560 people and 765 vehicles;

Lugansk Region:

1. “Stanytsia Luhanska” – 2576 people

Today in the morning there were 150 vehicles at the contact line in front of “Marrinka” checkpoint going inside government-controlled territory and 115 vehicles going out. There were 300 vehicles going in and 80 going out via “Zaitseve” checkpoint. There were no vehicles at “Novotroitske” and “Hnutove” checkpoints.

The number of attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in ATO zone has dramatically increased. ATO Press Center reported over 50 cease-fire violations in Lugansk and Donetsk Regions in the last 24 hours.

Below are the reports as they are posted by ATO Press Center. From 8:15 am November 9 till 6 pm there were 19 cease-fire violations and from 6 pm same day till 1:05 am November 10 there were 33 attacks. We also marked on Google Map all positions of the Ukrainian Army along the contact line that were attacked.

Russian terrorist troops continue to shell our positions using grenade launchers, high caliber machine guns and small fire arms near Donetsk. Starting from 8:15 they shelled Opytne and Novhorodske 5 times. Mariinka, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka and Troitske were attacked with the use of grenade launchers. Mayorsk and Dzerzhinsk located near Artemivsk were attacked 2 times. In total there were 19 attacks registered and almost all of them were provocative.

Our intelligence located 2 tanks of terrorists that were not withdrawn from the contact line violating Minsk Agreements. One was in the school yard and another one was in a forest on the South-East of Zaitseve.

Starting from 6 pm terrorists opened provocative fire in the direction of our positions 33 times. Near Donetsk they shelled Pisky 11 times using grenade launchers, high caliber machine guns and small fire arms, Opytne was shelled 7 times, Mariinka was shelled 4 times, Avdiivka and Krasnohorivka were shelled 3 times each. Nevelske and Kamyanka were attacked attacked by small fire arms and Verhnyotoretske was attacked with the use of BMP-2 armored vehicle and anti-aircraft guns.

Violating Minsk Agreements Russian-terrorist mercenaries opened fire in Artemivsk direction and attacked Popasna and Boguslavske twice using 120 mm mortars.

Besides that terrorists attacked Ukrainian Army positions near Novhorodske and Mariinka 4 times using mortars and Shyrokyne (near Mariupol) was attacked not only with the use of grenade launchers and small fire arms, but they also used 82 mm mortars banned by Minsk Agreements. It was quiet in ATO zone after 1:05 am.

Attention!!! At the time when Ukrainian military continue to follow Minsk Agreements terrorists violate them everyday. Out intelligence spotted a convoy of 20 tanks near Kalinina coal mine located in Donetsk and 4 tanks that terrorist were trying to hide near their positions close to Mariinka.

At 5:20 pm today ATO Press Center reported that terrorists attacked positions of Ukrainian Army in Lugansk Region using 82 mm mortars and fired at least 40 times. See original report in Ukrainian at www.facebook.com/ato.news

On November 10 terrorists continued to attack our positions in ATO zone in all directions. They totally disrespect Minsk Agreements. At 10:30 am Russian-terrorist mercenaries opened fire using 82 mm mortars. About 40 mines were fired at Bolotene village. Putin’s mercenaries also attacked Mayorsk using mortars. Pisky was attacked 5 times with the use of small firearms, high caliber machine guns and grenade launchers, they also attacked Opytne, Starohnativka and Hranitne.

At about 1 pm a group of about 100 men dressed in military uniform of Ukrainian type was spotted near Trudivska coal mine in Donetsk. There were also military armored vehicles near them.
