Pro-Russian terrorist was detained in Chisinau airport of Moldova when he arrived there on a flight from Moscow. Young man was in military uniform with insignia of “Novorossiya”.
Border control of Chisinau airport detained 26 years old man arriving on a flight from Moscow. He is a resident of Bender city currently located on the territory of so-called Transnistria, part of Moldova occupied by Russian military forces.
Dmitriy Obolontsev was wearing military uniform with insignia of pro-Russian terrorist groups who are fighting against Ukrainian Army on the East of Ukraine, he also had documents that indicate that he was part of so-called battalion of territorial defense “Bryanka-USSR”, a group active on the territory of Bryanka, occupied city of Lugansk Region.
He got to passport control in military uniform with “Novorossiya” insignia, after his luggage was checked police found military ID issued by “authorities” of Lugansk People’s Republic.

According to border police Dmitriy Obolontsev was fighting on the side of pro-Russian militants of Lugansk for over a year. He said that he was paid for taking part in military actions in that region.
The militant came back home for vacation. He was detained by police and will be questioned by Security Service and prosecutors
This was already second time when a resident of Moldova who took part in military conflict on the East of Ukraine was detained by police in Moldova.
