Humanitarian aid to Ukraine from Kazakhstan arrived to Severodonetsk

Yesterday January 10 2015 Kazakhstan officially gave the humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the city of Severodonetsk which is located in Lugansk Region and is under Ukrainian government control. There were 6 wagons of food, about 128 tons of canned meat, 40 tons of sugar, 150 tons of buckwheat and 36 thousands liters of sunflower oil. This humanitarian aid is for people on the East of Ukraine who need help.

 

This is extremely important for us! A friend in need is a friend indeed and not only when everything is good. Since Ukraine and Ukrainian people are in difficult situation right now, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Kazakhstan people couldn’t stay aside.

During the meeting there were representatives of international organizations that work in Lugansk Region such as OSCE, United Nations, International Committee of Red Cross and others.
