33 children from Lugansk Region went to Romania for vacation. This trip became possible as a result of agreement between the Embassy of Romania in Ukraine and the head of Lugansk Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal who said that one of the priorities in his job was to organize trips for children from Lugansk Region to European Union countries that border with Ukraine. In this group there were childred from Bilovodsk and Svatovo areas and also from Severodonetsk city. Most of them are refugees from cities that are on the front line and now together with parents they had to left their homes.
On the way to the West, the group spent almost a month in Kiev, they visited the Independence Square and Institutska st., where they honored the Heroes of Heaven Hundred and they had a meeting with the ambassador of Romania to Ukraine Cornel Ionescu.
The next stop on the way to Romania was in Chernivtsy where children spent over 24 hours. At the time when kids visited the city the Ukrainian soldiers were coming back from ATO zone, so children could see how solders met with their friends and relatives, there were a lot of flowers, flags and orchestra music during the ceremony. The regional civil organization of Chernivtsy Region “Dignity of Bukovyna” help to organize excursions, trips to museum and churches for the kids. The group of children also visited the university of Fedkovich and Embassy of Romania in Chernivtsy.
Today, March 23, the group will continue their trip to Romania.
