40 tons of humanitarian aid arrived for Lugansk Region to Severodonetsk from Zhytomir Region

Zhytomir Region sent 40 tons of humanitarian aid for Lugansk Region. The cargo arrived yesterday on March 2 to Severodonetsk. That was food for civilian population and equipment for regional hospital. The head of Zhytomir Regional State Administration Sergiy Mashkovskiy personally came with the cargo. Same day together with Hennadiy Moskal they took about 10 tons of food to Novotoshkivka village. The village is located near Ukrainian Army checkpoint #29 on Bahmutka road and that village was seriously damaged after shelling. Water supply was restored few days ago, but there is still no electricity and heating. People still have to hide from the shelling that didn’t stop until now. When Moskal and Mashkovskiy were there they could hear sounds of explosions from the direction of checkpoint #29.

We are constantly sending humanitarian aid to Nonbasic and this is the 3rd time I come to Lugansk Region. Part of the aid we leave to military units from Zhytomir that are protecting territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and the rest we give to civil population. Everybody help to collect humanitarian aid, businessmen, people who work in regional administration, activists… People in Zhytomir Region understand what is going on on the East of the country and we feel the pain and do everything we can to help. We will continue to support Lugansk Region, we will do anything, so people who live there can feel that they are not left alone in this war…

– Sergiy Mashkovskiy.
