Russian news agency TV2 published interview with Russian soldiers who got recruited in Tomsk and travel 4000 km to get Lugansk (Ukraine) to fight against Ukrainian Army on a side of pro-Russian terrorists who control some areas of Lugansk and Donetsk Regions. We analyzed the video and the article to post more information that Russian news agency couldn’t publish due to censorship.
The total number of people in the group that goes to Lugansk is 31. They are men age 23-50 years old.
The man who is shown from the back on this photo says to the reporter that he and his group had intensive training and are ready to fight.
Mikhail Kolmakov is the person who recruits Russian soldiers and organizes their training and transportation to Ukraine. He is the head of Russian Federation Union of Afghanistan Veterans, particularly he runs department of that organization in Tomsk city. Here is a link to their website http://www.rsva.tomsk.ru That organization is supported by Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation. Mikhail Kolmakov says that he is sending the group of 31 soldiers who are volunteers. And that this is the 1st group and previously the members of his organization where going to Ukraine to take part in the military actions in smaller groups, but now the processes is much more organized. He said that they have sponsors who help with ammo and transportation and with other things.
In the video at the back you can see a guy who is identified as a member of Russian paramilitary organization who call themselves Cossack of “Great Army of Don”. The unit of that group was the 1st one that was identified when they took control over one of the cities in Lugansk Region, they arrived to Antratsyt on May 5 2014 on military trucks with weapon and openly claimed that they came from Russia and immediately started to recruit people, mostly young ones who worked at coal mines in that area. “Great Army of Don” is also supported by Russian Federation on a government level and they took active part in events in Crimea in March-April 2014 together with regular Russian Army units and as a result the Crimea was annexed by Russian Federation.
Below is a screenshot from the video made in Pervomaisk (Lugansk Region). In the video there are 2 guys. The 1st one is Evgeniy Ishchenko who controls Pervomaisk city and is active member of “Great Army of Don”. The 2nd guy is Pavel Dryomov who controls another Stakhanov city (Lugansk Region). The video was posted on December 9 and it was recorded same day.

Another guy in the video is giving military IDs to the soldiers who stand in the line.
Russian soldiers in the video claim that they departure to Lugansk from Tomsk by bus. The bus on the video was identified. It has SCL marking on it. That bus belongs to local government owned company “Siberian Chemical Combine“. It’s one of the biggest companies in the world that produce fuel for Nuclear Power Plants. Here is a screenshot from their website where you can clearly see it’s trademark sign.
The location where the bus with Russian soldiers departures from was also identified. That is the office of Russian Federation Union of Afghanistan Veterans in Tomsk. Here is a link for Google map The address is Internatsionalistov st 2A, Tomsk.
