Lenin is down in Svatovo

Another Lenin fall down in Ukraine. This time the monument suddenly broke and city administration had to remove it in Svatovo. Svatovo is a town in Lugansk Region on the North from Lugansk. It has always been under Ukrainian control. Couple of times pro-Russians tried to go there, but they were kicked back by locals and after the conflict did grow into a war, the city became main base for State Administration that was evacuated from Lugansk.

Governor of Lugansk Region visited Stanytsia Luhanska

On September 28 the Governor of Lugansk Region Henadii Moskal visited Stanytsia Luhanska. That area borders with the territory controlled by terrorists and it was damaged a lot when pro-Russian separatists were shelling there using GRAD (multiple rocket launcher system) and mortars. City hospital is not working, police, prosecutor’s office, City Hall, and school are also not working. There is no electricity and no phone connection. The Governor promised to the people who came to meet him that Ukrainian Army will not leave the city and that all infrastructure will be repaired as soon as possible, so people can start living their normal life.

People demand money from terrorists in Rovenki city

Yesterday on September 27 people in Rovenki city, which is located on the South of Lugansk Region and is under terrorist control, had a meeting in front of city hall. People were demanding to pay pensions and money to workers. Some guys who represented the terrorist organization controlling the city came to people and told them they will start paying the money in the middle of October. But people do not believe them any longer. Pro-Russian separatists have lost the support from local population long time ago, but locals can’t do anything against them.

People of Antratsyt got together on September 22 to ask “new government” when they were going to start paying pensions and salaries to the people. Terrorists said to the people that if they get together again they will shoot them. People went home with no answers to their important questions.
